The Workshop will be held on board a comfortable 4-deck boat «Georgy Zhukov» cruising from Nizhny Novgorod to Saint Petersburg, through cities of Gorodets, Plyos (Ples), Kostroma, Yaroslavl, and visiting Goritsy village and Kizhi and Valaam islands. The boat cruise will start in Nizhny Novgorod at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 13, and will arrive in Saint Petersburg at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, July 20, 2010.
The participants may board the ship in the Nizhny Novgorod river station at the Volga embankment starting from 9.30 p.m. on Monday July 12, 2010.
The Organizing Committee will make arrangements to meet participants in the Nizhny Novgorod airport and at the railway station and provide transportation to the ship by the beginning of the conference.
Flights:
Lufthansa operates the direct international flight from Frankfurt (Germany) to Nizhny Novgorod. The timetable can be found at Lufthansa web site www.lufthansa.com. The international indication for Nizhny Novgorod International Airport is GOJ. Lufthansa also operates flights from St. Petersburg (Pulkovo International Airport) to various cities. For other opportunities of traveling from St. Petersburg please contact your travel agent.
