ATTENTION: The route and the timetable have been changed!

When planning your travel, please note that the official boarding time is 8.00 am on July 28. However, since some participants arrive in advance, the cruise boat will be available for boarding in Nizhny Novgorod starting at about midnight, 0.00 am on July 28. The departure is scheduled for 9:00 am on July 28. In the end of the cruise, the arrival in Nizhny Novgorod is scheduled for 5 pm (17:00) on August 2. It will be possible to stay onboard in the evening on August 2 (dinner
is included). Also the participants who departs late in the evening, or in the night, or early in the morning on August 3 may stay on board until 3 am.

Nizhny Novgorod International Airport is served by Lufthansa Airlines. The most suitable flights are as follows:

  • LH1464 Frankfurt (FRA) - Nizhny Novgorod (GOJ):
    departure July 27 at 21:30, arrival July 28 at 03:00 
  • LH1465 Nizhny Novgorod (GOJ) - Frankfurt (FRA):
    departure August 3 at 04:55, arrival August 3 at 06:40

If you choose a flight arriving in Moscow, then you may reach Nizhny Novgorod by train. A train journey between Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod takes 5 to 8 hours. Day-time and overnight trains are available. You may find the timetables at the Russian Railways official web-site.To search for a train from Moscow to Nizhny Novgorod, enter “MOSKVA” for any Moscow station and “GOR’KIJJ” for Nizhny Novgorod railway station.

All participants are advised to inform the Organizing Committee about their travel itineraries. The Organizing Committee will provide all reasonable travel assistance to the participants. In particular, the Organizing Committee will make arrangements for meeting the participants in Nizhny Novgorod and providing transportation to the boat.

In particular, the Organizing Committee will offer a direct transfer to the boat for participants arriving by the mentioned Lufthansa flight LH1464 from Frankfurt (arriving at 3 am on July 28). Also a direct transfer to the airport will be provided for those who departs by Lufthansa flight LH1465 to Frankfurt on August 3 at 04:55 am.
