WELCOME Dear Colleagues,
The scope of the Conference covers a wide range of research activities of both fundamental and applied significance. The Conference is highly interdisciplinary in nature; it opens wide opportunities for the interaction between the researchers active in such areas as coherent quantum phenomena at extremely low temperatures; nonlinear problems in astrophysics and geophysics; extreme-field physics and nonlinear processes in laser-matter interactions; quantum control of the molecular and electronic dynamics; turbulence, flows and solitons in fluid dynamics and plasma physics; coherent and stochastic processes; freak waves in the upper ocean.
Traditionally the Conference is held on board a cruise riverboat. The format of the Conference offers an excellent opportunity for virtually unlimited discussions in addition to usual session presentations. This year the cruise starts in Nizhny Novgorod, goes down the Volga river to Kazan, goes up the Kama river to the town of Yelabuga and then returns back to Nizhny Novgorod. This is a new route for a "Frontiers of Nonlinear Physics" Conference, so it could be a unique occasion for many participants to get familiar with Russian history, culture and nature of that region. A special sightseeing program along the route and a set of social events are also scheduled.
If you intend to take part in the Conference and if it does not interfere with your schedule for the next year, please fill in the Pre-registration Form.
