WELCOME

Dear Colleagues,
It is my great pleasure to inform you about the VI International Conference “Frontiers of Nonlinear Physics” and to invite you to attend it and make it a great scientific event. The Conference will be held on board a comfortable boat cruising from Nizhny Novgorod up the Volga River and further to St. Petersburg from July 17 through July 23, 2016.

Like the previous FNP conferences held since 2001 every three years “FNP 2016” will be focused on the hot topics of nonlinear processes and their most advanced applications to systems of different origins. The scope of the Conference covers a wide range of research activities of both fundamental and applied significance. The Conference is highly interdisciplinary in nature; it opens wide opportunities for the interaction between researchers active in areas such as coherent quantum phenomena at extremely low temperatures; nonlinear problems in astrophysics and geophysics; extreme-field physics and nonlinear processes in laser-matter interactions; quantum control of the molecular and electronic dynamics; turbulence, flows and solitons in fluid dynamics and plasma physics; coherent and stochastic processes; freak waves in the upper ocean.

As per established tradition, the Conference is held on board a comfortable cruise riverboat. The planned cruise route is expected to be very exciting and winds its way along the upper Volga to the Russian North (Onega and Ladoga lakes) and further along the Neva River to St. Petersburg. This could be a unique opportunity for many participants to become familiar with both the Russian history and nature. A special sightseeing program on the route and a set of social events are also scheduled.

If you intend to take part in the Conference and if it does not interfere with your schedule, please fill in the online Pre-registration Form.
I am looking forward to seeing you at FNP 2016.
